Study Abroad- Haiti
The UF in Haiti Program was a research-based study abroad that focused on the aspects of community-based participatory research, the intersection of public health, and cultural anthropology. Our research focused on water insecurity, water borne-illness, and cultural beliefs of vaginal illness in Gressier, Haiti

International Medical Service Trip- Peru
The Gainesville Student Chapter of Doctors Without Borders partnered with Maximo Nivel for our Medical Service Learning trip. This experience exposed us to international rural health care, the work of Doctors Without Borders and the local health disparities present in Cusco, Peru.

International Coursework
My international course work such as Global Public Health, Global Health Culture, Culture and Medicine, and Cultural Anthropology has taught me the importance of culture in health and health behavior. These classes have given me the opportunity to focus on culturally component health care in an international setting.
